Starting today, we are welcoming you back into our showrooms!

The process of purchasing a vehicle has changed over time, but for over 30 years, we at Stoltz Family Dealerships have never had to reinvent ourselves as much as we have done in these past few weeks. This transition into online sales has been a challenge, especially for a small family dealership like ours. We are proud of the efforts of our incredible staff, and we are overwhelmed by the support from you, our amazing customers. We are going to continue to offer the service of completing steps of the buying process digitally. Please visit any of our websites, and take advantage of Stoltz Prime, to start your deal from the comfort of your home.

With that said, we know that purchasing a vehicle online is not for everyone. While we are going to continually adhere to the CDC guidelines, we are now happy to be able to invite you (and your mask!) into our sanitized showroom. Please contact us online or call any of our stores, and our customer service and sales team will help you schedule a visit.

Please know that all employees and customers are required to wear masks while on the premises, social distancing is required, and we will continue to clean all high touch points throughout the dealership. Additionally, we are sanitizing vehicles after every service appointment and test drive.

Update: Tuesday April 21st

Dear Stoltz Customers,

We are reaching out to give you an update on the current status of operations at Stoltz Family Dealerships.

We are happy to inform you that effective Monday, April 20, 2020, in accordance with the specific guidelines set forth by Governor Tom Wolf, we are now able to resume motor vehicle sales. Please contact us online or call any of our stores and we will be happy to coordinate the sales process with you.

In response to the current, unprecedented conditions we all find ourselves in, we at Stoltz Family Dealerships are committed to doing our part to keep our communities safe. This means we have to rethink how we sell cars, and we are ready with new and exciting ways to make shopping safer and easier for you, our valued customers.

If you are in the market for a vehicle, now or in the near future, we have some fantastic incentives and prices available to you. We are seeing better than ever incentives from the manufacturers, offering generous rebates and 0% up to as long as 84 months!

Please know that we are strictly adhering to the CDC guidelines that took effect on April 19th, 2020. These guidelines include, but are not limited to:

Update: Friday March 20th

Dear Stoltz Customer,

In response to the most recent instructions from Governor Wolf, as of tonight, our sales department will be closed until further notice. Our service and parts departments will remain open on a limited basis with limited staff for essential emergency type work.

We will continually update our websites and social media with any relevant changes to our operations, and we will have customer service representatives working from home available to answer any questions or concerns you might have.

We will try our best to assist older and/or vulnerable residents of the Greater DuBois and St Marys area with any errands needed. Please call any of our dealerships for assistance.

Update: Thursday March 19th


Dear Stoltz Customer,

We are reaching out because we have updated information to share with you regarding COVID-19 and how it impacts operations at Stoltz Family Dealerships in DuBois, St. Marys and Coudersport.

After meeting with managers and heads of departments, we have established a comprehensive list of rules and changes to our process to help minimize the spread of COVID-19. These standards are completely mandatory for our entire staff at all our dealerships.

Our team is adjusting to the practice of social distancing. This is a challenge for a business like ours, but our employees understand the importance. In addition to the extra cleaning at every dealership and careful attention to sanitizing touch points on vehicles and within the dealership, we are doing our best to maintain a respectful distance. This is to keep both you, our valued customers, and our own employees safe.

The CDC defines social distancing as it applies to COVID-19 as "remaining out of congregate settings, avoiding mass gatherings, and maintaining distance (approximately 6 feet or 2 meters) from others when possible." How to practice social distancing:

  • Avoid hugs and handshakes
  • Maintain 6-feet of separation between yourself and others
  • Refrain from going to events that could be considered mass gatherings
  • Continue to wash hands and take the same health precautions you would with any other illness, such as the cold or flu.

Additionally, we encourage all our customers to utilize the options we have available for you to engage with both our service and sales department remotely. 

For service, you can now schedule service directly on our website. We also encourage you to drop off your vehicle for service and to use our mobile tools to respond to service recommendations via either text or email. We do accept payments over the phone as well.

For sales, please take advantage of our digital retailing tool, which will give you the opportunity to calculate your payments, get a value for your trade in, apply for financing and more. This can all be done online, and will minimize the time you will need to spend in the dealership. Also, to help with social distancing, we will present all customers with the option to sign an MV-355, so that you can test drive the vehicle alone.

We will continue to closely monitor The CDC guidelines as well as state and local government recommendations, and our internal leadership will continue to be in constant communication.
